Janatics ASC0160 Pneumatic Silencer is part of the Janatics AS Series of exhaust silencers and is designed for installation on pneumatic valve and actuator exhaust ports.
The silencer helps reduce the noise produced when compressed air is discharged to atmosphere. It also helps limit dust entry through the exhaust port. Janatics identifies the Conical - Hexagon type as a conical sintered bronze filter element fitted on a hexagonal brass base.
The ASC0160 model corresponds to the 1/8" size and is suitable for compact pneumatic systems where exhaust-noise reduction is required.
