This parent product is available with two selectable license options:

• EtherNet/IP Scanner License
• BACnet IP & BACnet MS/TP License

1. EtherNet/IP Scanner License

The EtherNet/IP Scanner License enables a compatible Horner OCS controller to operate as an EtherNet/IP Scanner / network controller.

Key Features:

• Enables EtherNet/IP Scanner functionality
• Horner OCS acts as the network master/controller
• Communicates directly with compatible EtherNet/IP devices
• Supports connection to remote I/O
• Supports compatible VFDs/drives
• Supports smart EtherNet/IP devices
• Control logic can run directly inside the Horner OCS
• Can reduce the requirement for a separate PLC in suitable applications

Important: Standard EtherNet/IP Adapter functionality does not require this Scanner License on supported Horner controllers. The license is required when the OCS needs to function as an EtherNet/IP Scanner.

The BACnet License enables compatible Horner controllers to communicate with BACnet-compatible equipment used primarily in building automation and HVAC systems.
