Autonics BRQ polarized retroreflective side-sensing photoelectric sensors are M18 cylindrical industrial sensors designed for reflector-based object detection where compact installation and stable sensing are important. This BRQ group is optimized for polarized retroreflective sensing with a rated 3 m range.
The sensor is available as an integrated body with NPN open collector or PNP open collector output, and in both cable type and M12 4-pin connector type models. This sensing principle is well suited to installations that can use a reflector and require reliable detection with reduced sensitivity to glossy surfaces compared with standard reflective sensing.
Polarized retroreflective sensing is a strong choice where one sensor body plus reflector is preferred and installation space does not allow separate opposed emitter and receiver units.
