Autonics BRQ diffuse reflective side-sensing photoelectric sensors are M18 cylindrical industrial sensors designed for direct target detection without a separate receiver or reflector. This BRQ group covers short- to medium-range diffuse reflective sensing in compact automation systems.
The series is available in 100 mm, 400 mm, and 700 mm sensing range options, with NPN open collector or PNP open collector output and either cable type or M12 4-pin connector type construction. These models are suitable for detecting opaque and translucent targets in machine automation, packaging, and conveyor applications.
Diffuse reflective sensing is ideal where simple single-body installation is preferred and the target can reliably reflect the emitted light within the selected sensing range.
